May 5th

I didn't realize how much I would love elephants for Adin, but I do. His Mimi made him an elephant valance for his bedroom. Chris and Rachel also passed along this sleeper to us. Not only does it have elephants, but it has gray and white, my two favorite clothing color duet.

This may seem narcissistic, but my mom likes to get an update on how I'm looking, so occasionally I'll take a picture in the bathroom and send it along. I also posted pictures of my growing belly, so here's an opposite one of the shrinking belly.
My cousin Shannon made this onesie at my shower. As you can see, he is BURSTING out of it the little chunker-roo!! I love that the back of it has the date of my shower so I can always remember that and then remember that 3 days later Adin arrived. What most people don't know is that I went into major nesting mode after the shower and everything had to be put together, put away, washed, and cleaned up. For some reason I thought it was a logical idea that it all be "ready" 6 weeks in advance (literally the pack and play was put together in our room ready for his arrival). So, I can officially call it nesting!

May 2nd

Adin is 3 months old!!! And he's looking like such a beautiful little man :) Below are his pictures with the elephant (A Mimi gift) and the bear (A Juju gift) for growth comparison. He's sitting up a bit more independently than he did at 2 months. The first picture was taken by Jenny (one of his 'sitters) and sent to me as my mid-day reinforcement for going to work. I live for those pictures! He looks A LOT like my brother in this picture. This sleeper is also one that Kara and I bought together when we realized we were both pregnant at the same time and due only DAYS apart from one another.

More bath time photos! He is getting so big :) that is until you see Jesse's hand on his abdomen and then you're reminded how tiny he is for 3 months old! But he's growing like a weed.

April 23rd

We received in the mail a package from Kara's mom containing about a dozen burp cloths that were embroidered with various designs. Some were personalized (see first picture) and others were just beautiful (see second picture). Adin clung onto the burp cloth immediately, like he knew they were just for him :)

April 22nd

Again, to address the flat head we found another new position...belly time on the Boppy Lounger. And of course our Nugget found a way to make it super adorable! I also took a picture to document his growing bald spot on the back of his head.

I have an app on my phone called Camera+ and it allows me to edit photos, so I took a few and made them fancy. It was fun and they came out really good (I think).
